‘The Southern Soul’ by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh
Vietnam Art House is honored to announce a solo exhibition of “The Southern Soul” of new and recent works by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, his debut in the Netherlands.
The exhibition dates will be: 28 September - 15 December 2026

About Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (born 1954 in Hanoi, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) is a special person with an unique style. He is one of the few best-selling Vietnamese painters with more than 40 years of experience and thousands of artworks collected worldwide.
Binh's paintings are always full of emotion, he shows his talent in every detail and in the ability to harmonize simple colors expressively, of which the white color often plays the leading role. He is well known for his works depicting female figures wearing the white Ao Dai dress. His landscape paintings touch viewers by the simplified landscape, deep colors and light sadness. He prefers simplicity in layout, the conciseness in depiction, no appearance of many figures and colors in the paintings.
Although Binh has been influenced by western art and its aesthetics, his art falls well within the philosophical and aesthetic sphere of the Orient. He wants to express the happiness and sorrow of the Southern Soul in his artworks.
