About The Vietnam Art House
Vietnam Art House (hereinafter referred to as VAH for short) is an art space displaying artworks
by contemporary Vietnamese artists.
Vietnamese contemporary art is a unique fusion of Oriental philosophy of life and Western techniques and styles. Dedicated to honoring Vietnam's fine arts, VAH is a trusted place for artists, collectors and public who love Vietnamese and international art.
In 2010, Vietnam Art House was founded by Jim Broens and Hanh Do who are both frequent visitors to Vietnam over the last 20 years. They personally know many leading artists in the country. In addition to having long experience in dealing with Vietnamese artists, we are supported by an ‘Advisory Committee’ which includes nine people with different backgrounds but all know Vietnam very well.
We understand and appreciate the beauty of Vietnamese culture, traditional and modern values. We would like to connect artists with the community, artworks with art lovers, as well as Vietnamese contemporary art with the world contemporary art.
Enjoying, honoring and possessing beauty have always been important needs in the cultural life of people. With the mission of connecting and developing Vietnamese art and culture in the Netherlands, Vietnam Art House is a pioneering art organization with its efforts to support and promote Vietnamese fine arts to friends who love the art in general and love Vietnam in particular
During the last decade, a lot of Vietnamese artists emerged successfully and have made works of international standard. Some artists are now achieving high prices internationally. We believe that Vietnamese contemporary art is still in an early stage of commercial recognition both in Asia and the West. It therefore offers exceptionally exciting and fruitful opportunities for collectors.
